SIMPLY NOURISH LIKE A MOTHER: April 10-May 21

$240.00

In a perfect world, you’d eat foods that nourish your body, mind, and spirit. Food that keeps your legs running strong, your mind humming, your spirit soaring.

In this imperfect world, you—if you’re like us—scarf down bars over the keyboard; skip meals because you’re spending hours behind the steering wheel; eat “meals” of leftovers and baby carrots, consumed over the sink, and washed down with wine; and crave sugar every day at precisely 2:15 sharp.

Even though you know better, you can’t seem to make changes that stick.Too often, because of what you put in your mouth, your mood slumps. Your sleep is sporadic. Your belly bloats. You have no energy. On runs, your legs feel like rocks…and you can’t seem to break the cycle.

Led by Ellie Kempton, MDN, RD, Simply Nourish Like a Mother is an innovative, six-week program serving up bite-size, holistic changes to your diet that you can easily integrate on a daily basis. You’ll learn to eat for energy, not because of emotions; you’ll understand how your body digests different macronutrients (and why you should eat food in a specific order); you’ll intimately experience how food can be healthy, healing, easy, nourishing, and tasty all at once.

Take it from Tamara, a #motherrunner Ellie worked with in 2016:

Ellie offers an empowering combination of positive energy, evidence-based knowledge, and actionable systems—and meets me where I am today. A terrific partner for those of us who know we should eat better, but have a list of very real challenges to overcome, Ellie gets mother runners and knows what we can accomplish with the right support and information.

On an individual basis, a program like this would cost over $700, but Simply Nourish Like a Mother is $240, and it’s designed with you—a busy, multi-tasking, active woman—in mind.

Along the way, you’ll systematically build simple nutrition habits that streamline into one another—and blossom seamlessly into your life. Along the way, you’ll stabilize your energy (see ya, midday blahs!), improve your digestion, and optimize your weight.

Please note: We are limiting enrollment to 35 women. If you are unable to register this round, please take a look at future dates!

FAQs

  • Who designed the Simply Nourish Like a Mother protocol?
The brains behind Simply Nourish Like a Mother is Ellie Kempton, MSN, RD, a former collegiate swimmer who found her calling in the pool. Her diet was motivated purely by speed and ease; she ate foods that could be prepared quickly to optimize free time and to fuel faster swiming—or so she thought.

When her “fast” foods only made her slower and eventually very sick, her paradigm shifted. After a diagnosis of autoimmunity, but before completely giving up, she found her elixir: real food. It transformed her performance, health and life.

Since then, she’s become real food’s marketing agent. After all, real food offers transformative health benefits. With a practice based in Denver, she’s thrilled to make nutrition simple and accessible for everyone across the country and around the world.

While nutrition scenarios vary from person to person, Ellie focuses on stabilizing energy, improving digestion, and optimizing weight—three pillars that allow for more clarity, focus, and happiness in your life and athletics.

  • How does the program work?
This six-week program is structured like this:
    • Each week has a different focus with easily accessible, simple tips to help you integrate optimal nutrition.

    • The printed weekly materials include guidelines + facts; shopping lists (both the regular and the in-a-pinch variety); numerous food formulas + recipes; and a weekly journal. At the end of the program, you will have a binder full of goodness: information and recipes you’ll rely on over and over for years.

    • The weekly exclusive podcast, between 45-60 minutes long, goes over the weekly materials in depth.

    • Over the course of the week, we encourage you to integrate the practices that are the focus that week. On the private Facebook page, you’ll share tips and recipes that are working—or not working—for you, creating group momentum and a Simply Nourish team that will help you stay accountable and motivated.

    • Weekly, Ellie hosts a Q+A session on the private Facebook page. It is usually a Facebook Live session with Dimity, but occasionally we’ll have it as a post.

    • During week six, we’ll host one to two wrap-up webinars to review materials, talk about next steps, and allow you to connect with Ellie one-on-one.

    • Finally, each week there is a “Go the Extra Mile” task, which opens up and explains a helpful aspect of nutrition like probiotics and collagen.

  • I’ve worked with Ellie one-on-one previously. Will I still get something out of the program?
Likely. While we are going to focus on the unique protocol that Ellie shares with all her clients, we have the time and resources to do a deep dive into each area (vegetables, carbs, protein, fats). In addition, the group situation will elicit questions, situations, and recipes that may enhance your experience. That said, if you are concerned about too much overlap, contact us at tlamclub@anothermotherrunner.com and we can discuss.

  • Will I lose weight during Simply Nourish Like a Mother?
Simply Nourish Like a Mother is not a specific weight-loss program; the focus is learning and integrating nutritional habits that will help you stabilize your energy, improve your digestion, and enhance your athletic performance. Doing those things will also help  you optimize your weight.

Is it very possible that you will lose weight as you implement the tools and tips from SNLAM? Yes. Will the program be a failure if you don’t lose weight? We certainly don’t think so, as you’ll have nutritional strategies that will serve you and your family for years to come.

  • I’m gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy-free, fill in the _________: Can I join?
Yes! The Simply Nourish protocol fits nearly every dietary situation.

  • Why are you limiting enrollment to 35?
We want everybody to have an optimal experience. If you were unable to get into the current round, check out a list of dates for upcoming programs here.

  • What if life gets in the way, and I’m unable to complete the program week by week?
Because SNLAM is thoughtfully structured, you’ll be able to follow the program on your own. All the materials should be printed out and kept in a binder, and the exclusive podcasts are able to be downloaded and listened to at your leisure. So even if you fall a week behind, you can catch your breath and then jump back in when you’re ready for the next week’s materials.

We will be unable to issue refunds or do-overs for Simply Nourish Like a Mother, but if you miss a week or podcast, we can definitely help you get those so you have a whole binder—and brain— full of goodness to rely on for years to come!
